Position: Line Cook

We're seeking an experienced line cook to assist our kitchen team. We are a small team that works together to prepare food for our customers in a variety of ways. We keep a grab & go case filled with snacks, salads, and meals, prepare made-to-order items off of our monthly menu for walk up, call-in, and online orders, and fulfill catering orders as they are added to our calendar. We are also adding an eat-in cafe for breakfast and lunch service, which will be the primary function of this role. 

Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following but not limited to):

• Ability to carry out recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards as set by company
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the staff, according to company standards in a timely & efficient manner
• Assist with food preparation (includes chopping, dicing, slicing, baking/pastry, etc.)
• Help manage stock and inventory of kitchen goods
• Able to use kitchen equipment such as grill, slicer, stove, fryer, ovens, etc.
• Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen and equipment
  
• Establish and maintain a positive work environment
• Additional duties and projects as assigned
  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• At least one year of professional kitchen experience preferred; experience with breakfast and lunch service a plus 
• Ability to work with others in a team setting and be flexible to the changing needs of the kitchen
  
• Must have a passion and appreciation for cooking and quality food
  
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and independently
  
• Strong time management and organizational skills

Full time and part time available. Starting at $17/hr, with compensation based on experience. You will be given a paid break and a meal for each shift. Health and dental offered. Paid time off. 401k matching program. 

Position: Barista (Lola's Cafe)

We're looking for outgoing coffee lovers to work in Lola's Cafe. Baristas will take and serve food and beverage orders, prepare delicious coffee beverages, cashier, and provide friendly customer service.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve quality beverages in a timely and engaging manner according to company standards
• Provide warm and friendly service to all customers 
• Record and accurately process purchases using the POS system, collect and process payments
• Take and serve food orders as prepared by the kitchen staff
• Work cleanly and safely; keep equipment and areas clean and tidy
• Organize and restock supplies as needed
• Complete opening and closing tasks and checklists
• Participate in weekly, monthly and quarterly deep cleans of the cafe
• Proactively maintain and improve the appearance of the Cafe and coffee bar
• Sanitize and clean the cafe area as needed throughout the shift
• Perform all opening and closing duties 

Qualifications 

• Cafe/Barista experience a plus but not required, we will provide training 
• People skills required; able to communicate effectively with the public and team proactively, professionally, and positively
• Able to lift 40 lbs or more
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Basic understanding of computer POS Systems and ability to learn
• Weekend availability

Warehouse/Stock Position

Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following but not limited to):

• Ensure sales floor is properly stocked according to company standards; stock shelves in a timely and efficient manner
• Provide customer service when on sales floor as needed 
• Contribute to team effort and establish working relationship with others 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse by following company standards
• Follow established procedures and policies as outlined by management 
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Pay is $15.50 an hour, position is currently part time, with the possibility of full time in the future.
