Former Beaux Frères winemaker Grant Coulter and his wife, Renée Saint-Amour, have quickly put Hundred Suns at the top of Oregon's list of wineries to watch. This Chardonnay is a great introduction to their entire range of wines, as it emphasizes low alcohol (12.9%), moderate use of oak and features plenty of fresh, citric influences rather than going for sheer power. This is a wine we'd gladly serve next to great white Burgundy. Exceptional!
