The nose is quintessential Merlot, with loads of tarry dark berry fruit and an understated but firm peppery note, along with sweet oak characteristics. Lots of dark fruit and a wonderful counter current full of the bright nuances of plum, herb, sage, dill, and cassis on the palate. Well-balanced in the mouth with pleasant tannins and good acidity.
