Bench Chardonnay has a pale straw hue, with a nose that promises green apple and chalk. The mouthfeel is surprisingly viscous for a wine with no malolactic fermentation. Zesty acidity is balanced by layers of lemon and Gravenstein apple. 100% Stainless Steel during primary fermentation, then aged on fermentation lees for 4 months in neutral French barrels.
